Our fifth graders showcased their artistic talents in a stunning gallery featuring watercolors, abstract paintings, illusions, and symbolic art. Through these pieces, students explored various techniques and artistic expressions, bringing their creativity to life!

P.S. 66 honored students who achieved 100% attendance with a special celebration, recognizing their dedication and commitment to learning. The event highlighted the importance of showing up every day and fostering a strong school community.

During Civics Week, students at P.S. 66 explored the power of civic engagement through interactive lessons and a schoolwide vote on their favorite Civics for All posters. The two winning posters will proudly represent the school in the NYC Public Schools Civics Poster Competition, highlighting the importance of youth voice and active citizenship.

On Social Emotional Learning Day, students engaged in activities promoting self-awareness, emotional regulation, and positive social interactions, reinforcing the importance of mindfulness and well-being in their daily lives.

P.S.66 proudly ranks in the top 5% of all elementary schools statewide, achieving the highest New York State English Language Arts and Math tests scores in NYC Public Schools District 27. This outstanding accomplishment reflects the dedication of students, teachers, and families in fostering academic excellence.

Thank You, Mrs. LoMonte, for leading the ASPCA fundraiser to help displaced and injured animals from the California wildfires! The P.S. 66 community has raised over $1,500 to support this cause.

After 17 years at P.S. 66, including eight as principal, Principal DeSario has retired, leaving a legacy of leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the school community.

STREAMscape is an exciting STEM event for students in grades 3-5, featuring an immersive Virtual Reality experience, an interactive Coding Corner, a hands-on Robotics Zone, and a creative Design Challenge Station. Designed to captivate young minds, this event inspires a passion for STEM through engaging, real-world learning opportunities.

It was an afternoon filled with beautiful music as our young singers took the stage to showcase the vocal skills they had developed through dedicated instruction. This exceptional performance celebrates their hard work, growth, and passion for music.
